We develop stimuli-responsive supramolecular materials capable of changing from one well-defined architecture to another based on the inclusion of guest molecules binding with macrocyclic host molecules. We focus on the synthesis of novel functionalised materials through the combination of host-guest interactions and conventional polymer chemistry.
